I remember "POST NO BILLS" in Canada, which would usually be covered in stenciled pictures of well known Bills, such as Clinton, Cosby, and Gates.

That was before a lot of things. I suppose we could still leverage Murray and Bruford...

@crashbox I've seen a highway sign (no photo, would like to have but wouldn't have been safe to stop for one) saying "Permitted Vehicles Prohibited". I think it meant that vehicles requiring special permits weren't allowed there, but does suggest the same sort of negative circular reasoning.
