@cvvhrn yesterday on approach to Moffett Field (KNUQ) I saw a formation with 2 F-35 and 2 others--maybe F-16? Did you happen to see that? Do you know what the others were?

@johnlogic John, Yes it was a formation of 2 F/A-18's, 2 F-35C's, 2 F-15C's and 2 B-1's

It is the Super Bowl Flyover and they were practicing. The -35's and -18 returned to Moffett and the B-1's and F-15s departed. I assume the F-15 went back to Fresno and the B-1's back to Dyess but will return on sunday

There's an article that dropped earlier today that said the flyover was also supposed to have F-22s, but they were dropped a few weeks ago because of operational priorities. Some of the OSINT folks were getting excited about that.

@joy @johnlogic That is true the patch for the flyover showed the F-22's and they were replaced by F-15's of the 144th out of Fresno

I laughed when I read in the article that they planned the flyover to be very loud. I was like "Yeah, babe based on what I heard yesterday evening I can assure you the flyover will be loud."
