VHSbruary week one in the books! Here's a bit of a novel one. the Panasonic PlayPak. A classic AA powered VHS-C to VHS adapter that Panasonic sold in the mid 1990s. This helped folks play their VHS-C camcorder tapes on a regular VCR.

@stebbs I hated those things so much. There was always a 50-50 chance the VCR was going to eat your precious little camcorder tape and destroy your memories

I know what you mean I've had ones that destroyed tapes basically 100% of the time! I also remember scotch taping down a little red lever built into the side of one of these adapters to circumvent a safety feature. Or it was a way to override needing a battery in some way.
