I'm still kinda getting familiar with the vagaries and subtleties of the Fediverse.

The first time I looked at the (not) "defunct" account, it appeared with no profile pic and had 71 followers...
... compared with a few thousand on the other account.

Perhaps I should add the following to my own profile...
"Everybody! Please! Speak slowly.
I'll try to keep up with the conversation."
