@isaackuo
It's pretty cool, and I like their inline bicycle-like aesthetic.
Their choice of a unique shell based on 1950s F1 cars tells me this will not be cheap. They could have easily repurposed a kayak body instead.
Also I wonder what it will sound like. All the action shots in the video are overdubbed with dialog or music or both. If variations in propulsion make it sound irritating like a jetski it could be a showstopper.

@DenOfEarth Looking at their other videos, I think the main problem is that they want to show off the vehicle and it's optimized for speed. So, the noise of the chase drone or boat would be a problem. And the vehicle itself does not look like a stable camera platform.
There was one video with a camera mounted on the vehicle itself, but the noise of the vehicle was not audible over the music. There were times when the voice of the operator and someone else nearby was audible, but not the motor.
@DenOfEarth BTW, here's a video with some footage of the Candela P-12 prototype, from Everything Electric.
The Everything Electric reporter describes it as a "a little bit noisy", although it's hard to tell how noisy since she's wearing the microphone.

@DenOfEarth Another video, of a Vessev VS9 Hydrofoil, is slightly easier to tell about the noise level.
The two people talking to each other are wearing microphones, so it's not easy to tell directly. However, I perceive them as audibly raising their voices, so there must be a significant amount of noise.

Thanks for all the research! Appreciated!
It makes sense that a larger craft would have a more steady sound. Both of these sound perfectly fine for a watercraft of their size.
I wasn't so much concerned about noise irritating _me_, but if a smaller craft had the same unbearable sound as a jetski, it would impede acceptance and be a setback for what is otherwise a very cool and efficient new waterborne EV.
Incidentally the VS9 appears to also have a time-travelling flux capacitor!
