grndprnzpWhy did i forgot #mc ( #midnightcommander )? Such a great Tool if you have to deal with lots of unknown directory structures (aka ThirdParty archives) and need to move or mix and merge arbitrary filebases. Surely didnt used it since 10 Years but my fingers still know all the shortcuts and command keys. Crazy...
BTW: Anyone around here knows it by its proprietary predecessor named "Norton Commander"?

@stefano that makes me feel better :) The #midnightcomander was the first Application i managed to install on my first RedHat Linux back in '96 ... helped me alot understanding the "strange" System where everything was just simpy a file.
@grndprnzp I loved it, as much as I love it now. It still solves a lot of problems.
