Edinburgh Green councillors today tabled a motion, expressing support for the Palestine solidarity protestors who are on hunger strike in UK prisons. The UK’s ludicrous proscription of nonviolent protestors, branding them as terrorists, led to fears that councillors could face arrest merely for debating it.
