@AlSweigart The Economist had an interview with Jimmy Wales, who basically presented the same argument. It's on their Babbage science and technology podcast. He also goes into how Wikipedia makes sense of its place in an AI world.

You need to be a subscriber to The Economist or their Economist+ Podcast subscription but if you're actually interested I can send you the audio file. I am sure they don't mind this one time :) https://shows.acast.com/theeconomistbabbage/episodes/jimmy-wales-wikipedias-founder-on-surviving-ai

@AlSweigart @mvexel Tilo Jung wanted to interview him for his jung & naiv YouTube channel too, but Wales left the interview over the very first question, which was whether he was the founder or co-founder. He's got a very thin skin.

@skaphle @AlSweigart Hard to imagine he would. What I got from the interview is that he's still quite involved with the Wikipedia community. I don't think you would be able to sustain that if you have a thin skin. I'll look up that interview though.
@skaphle @AlSweigart I mean - this guy, assuming he did his journalistic duty and properly prepared for the interview, should have been aware that the founder / co-founder topic is not one JW wants to rehash. Now, of course you can try at your peril to do so, but I personally would have started this interview with something else.
