For some reason, I have a copy of the complete World of Darkness "Time of Judgment" news ticker and I was tempted to post one item a day just to see if anyone noticed because some of the apocalyptic news stories would seem pretty believable now.

Remembering how "Time of Judgment" only happened because the younger developers at White Wolf were getting restless and decided they didn't want to babysit somebody else's game and setting anymore, so they blew it up.

One last hurrah. "Everybody's been expecting the end of the world since the game began, right?"

Afterwards, they decided they wouldn't date themselves by tying the "new" games to an established lore or setting.

And then they immediately dated themselves.

@gwynnion
Bwahahhahahhaha! Please!
@Kalshann There's a lot of them, though, and I'm afraid I'd never hear the end of it from the reply guy pedants. LOL.
@gwynnion
True.. send it to me! [giggles]
@gwynnion @Kalshann it would make a good novelty account probably
@waitworry @Kalshann Which is tempting! But I know I'll get bored with the joke.
@gwynnion
TIL that existed despite having several of the Time of Judgement source books.

@kirtai As far as I know, the ticker only existed on the old White Wolf website circa 2004.

There's a copy here:
