Anarchists when they realize that the world isn't made of cartoon characters
Just a note: this is not a commentary on anarchists, this is just me making fun of this post because I think it's silly
@kaye good and evil are fundamentally concepts held by immature people, and are often inverted and used by objectively greedy people to serve themselves.
Just look at evangelicals
The most objectively self serving people often make a hierarchy where they are "good" people, where the slavery of others is for the "common good", and they frame the people who want to stop it as evil
even if we were going to entertain good/evil, its got origins in (sexual|emotional) drives because of socialization to do so, its not because they woke up and decided to be evil; its part of the territory. Epstein was a pedophile because it made the man feel powerful, not because he was merely just cracked.
The reason that the leading capitalists act in ways that are repulsive to most people in society, is because they have all the money and resources they need to get away with it, and the cultural and moral values of liberal democratic society are built around excusing (and also encouraging) the abuses of the power of the property owners. Their relation to the system is not as a subject, but as a beneficiary.
The function of the state in society is to defend the ruling class from its victims, and to propagate the set of social norms surrounding civil society, property, and the police/military that are most advantageous to the ruling class.
Those inversions can be demonstrated to be incoherent. If good and evil are immature, that implies that there is no reason to act one way over another. If that is true and someone really believes, the question is why aren’t they behaving randomly.
Believing incoherent notions of good and evil is bad as is the case with evangelicals.
