When I say “Fuck AI” there’s always this one guy who defends it and explains how it makes his life easier and helps him get more work done.

I feel like he’d use the same argument if it were long ago and I said “Fuck Slavery”.

@rasterweb I have a long post that probably should live on my blog about how much I regret the $20 that I have given to OpenAI. It isn't merely a matter of personally disliking it, it is a core enabling technology of the current rise of fascism. Society would be better off if OpenAI and every AI company in the bubble crashed and burned, and I'm sorry for forestalling that with my $20.

@geniodiabolico @rasterweb Having #Karakeep automatically tag my bookmarks is nice, but I'd rather see OpenAI fail and not have that functionality.
