A bill⚡bans #ICE #detention centers in NM has been approved by state's 2026 Legislature.

The IMM Safety Act was approved by the Senate on Tues, Feb 3, in an emotional vote. It passed in during a floor vote 24-15. All senator Rs opposing the bill. Gov M Lujan Grisham: stated she'd sign the leg.
