Proton mail seems to be having some issue. That can happen. The status page (status.proton.me) doesn't have any information yet, which is very common among all digital service providers. BUT it also tells me to "For more information, follow us on Twitter: @ProtonSupport." With no further options. Seriously? #proton #leavebigtech #Musk #twitter #digitalsovereignty

Proton gives only "lip service" to privacy.

The Proton Pass app has an unhelpful link, "How to use Proton Pass"...
... which immediately opens a third-party advertising website called "YouTube."

Sh*t. Instant YouTube cookies on one's browser, or worse, the YT app gets woken from slumber on the mobile.

I told Proton this was unacceptable over 2 years ago. No action. No warning. Just a big "FU" from Proton as it sends people to YT.

Proton's decision to NOT support Linux for its Drive app. caused me to cancel my Proton subscription.

Enshittification knows no bounds.

@TimePencil @hcf @protonprivacy I actually don't care that much about privacy compared to some of their customers, I especially want a non US/Big Tech reliant stack. Which has a lot of overlap, obviously. You'd think that open source support and/or sovereign solutions would be a priority for a company like this!
