oh my! i just learned that danny thompson has died several months ago, in september last year.
ever since i had discovered the british folk band Pentangle as a teenager in the early 80s i adored his bass playing. it was only later that i learnded about his name: Danny Thompson. and i noticed he had made a lot of great music afterwards, after pentangle.

86 is a good age. but still, i will miss his music ...
