Asked about a report, which contemplates the #US not selling any #nuclearsubmarines to #Australia – as promised under #AUKUS, #Marles says there will be “a whole lot of commentary” on AUKUS.
Marles said:
“We’re working with the #TrumpRegime, & we’ve heard #Trump make clear the position of the #UnitedStates in respect of this question, & he has said that we are full steam ahead in respect of this & it includes the transfer of the Virginia [class submarines].”
