The root of this behavior lies in Trumps relationship with Putin. Trump is an admirer. He admires a man who rules as a dictator and uses force to take what he wants. This man & this system are Trumps role model. And this is deeply dangerous. It explains why Trump does not condemn russian attacks, but plays them down. Why he repeats Kremlin talking points. Why he brings Putin back onto the world stage. Why he rolls out the red carpet for him and then presents his own submission as a success. 2/4
