@ivolimmen A friend recommended it during the pandemic and it was the best time to play it. Not only because of the isolation we were all going through but I had also had a really bad breakup and was questioning a lot about human relationships in general. Their nature, their importance. I also made another leap forward in the way I think about politics as well. And the themes of interdependence, connection, hope and despair and all of it hit as the right time. Low Roar was the cherry on the cake

@donthatedontkill that game gave me the chills. The athmosphere, lonelyness, the creepyness and the sudden calmness when a song started... it felt more like a movie than a game

@ivolimmen Oh for sure! I told friends who don't really play video games to look up "Death Stranding move version" where someone just stitched into a movie and it stands on its own pretty well. I think he (along with Sam Lake) are video game creators who really wish they were making movies instead sometimes 🤫

(That is definitely not a complaint of mine. Give me all the movie games!)

@ivolimmen Story rich? Story rich plus atmospheric ? Sometimes I search Choices Matter but that's a bit more specific than what we're going for I think
