Trump's admin sent an official letter to Polish Parliament asking for nomination for Nobel Peace Prize for trump. The decision was to be made by the speaker of the lower chamber, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. To trump's misfortune, Czarzasty is a member of Poland's left wing party. Today he announced that trump does not deserve the prize and there will be no nomination on Poland's behalf. Bravo!

Nie poprę wniosku o Nobla dla prezydenta Trumpa - oświadczył marszałek Sejmu Włodzimierz Czarzasty. Zwrócił uwagę, że prezydent Stanów Zjednoczonych "reprezentuje politykę siły", przez co między innymi destabilizuje sytuację w organizacjach międzynarodowych.

May I suggest that the fact that Czarzasty having some common sense and decency has more to do with this decision than his membership of a left wing party.

@sibrosan Probably, although various dependencies that tie Poland with the US, hardwired throughout the years by different governments believing in US alliance and good will, have led noticeable number of people in the position of power to introduce balancing pros and cons of going against the will of US regime into their decision process, putting common sense and moral compass into the back seat.
