Late to the party but I've just finished Dept Q.

Absolutely bonkers as a police procedural, but it scored highly in many aspects. The familiar locales (although I shouted at the screen in the first episode when they took an impossible route to the Royal Mile), the sheer misanthropy of Carl, the very crude but actually funny humour.

Will definitely be watching series 2.
