Late to the party but I've just finished Dept Q.

Absolutely bonkers as a police procedural, but it scored highly in many aspects. The familiar locales (although I shouted at the screen in the first episode when they took an impossible route to the Royal Mile), the sheer misanthropy of Carl, the very crude but actually funny humour.

Will definitely be watching series 2.

bloody and theres one very good simpsons joke. its one of the few things ive watched in the past 6 months that ive really liked (and its on netflix also).

if you can, watch slow horses also!

I kept meaning to watch Dept. Q for ages but only finally got to it about two weeks ago - we just slammed through it. So good, and very keen for the second series.
