Of particular note, he mentions that in the past year "...most of the database energy and activity is going into #PostgreSQL companies, offerings, projects, and derivative systems."

With #IvorySQL bringing #Oracle features to #Postgres, it'll be interesting to see how the database ecosystem changes further this year.
