@Tutanota yeah hey @protonprivacy Why aren't you publishing your app on F-Droid?

@0_D @Tutanota @protonprivacy

My guess is because their Proton Mail App in Android depends on Google Play Services, I found out that the hard way, when I installed the app in GrapheneOS.

Which is totally against their "deGoogle" speech...
Seems they need to started deGoogling their app also.

And this dependency is not allowed by F-Droid.
Just my 2 cents.

@cajo @0_D You don't need an app store to even download it. I use Proton Mail on GrapheneOS and only use Obtainium for downloads, why do you think the apk is on their Github (which is linked in Download under Android).

@kanelbullar @0_D

Thanks, nice to know, but even the Github version is dependent on Google Play Services, which is not allowed by F-Droid. That was the question.

And BTW, @Tutanota works perfectly without issues in GrapheneOS, with no Google dependencies.
