Okay. So I decided it's time to read "The Pentagon Papers", (NYT editors), and I immediately hit a knowledge gap because it starts with decisions by the Eisenhower administration right after The Geneva Accords , and I'm all "WHAT Geneva Accords", and off I went to Wiki (subscriber) and to the reading of history, and the looking at maps, and I am currently at, "Seriously, France, What were you THINKING?

Good grief. West f-ing East has been going on for a long time. Resource thieves.

No worries, France, the USA was right behind you, taking over the whole ,"what the ...", and the resource stealing.

I don't know how I'm supposed to get through this book, that I started to distract (sweet summer child) from the government maleficence of today. I am at the start of the first chapter after the intro, and I have 5 penciled rage notes, and have taken a break after each.
Was America always the world's asshole? It is time to address ourself, search that soul and give the gd farm away to all the people we have stomped on.

Ye. Eisenhower died before he could learn how many Americans he killed in Vietnam, not to mention that war's legacy since, and all the non- American dead.
