Построены более 3200 лет назад; высота статуй - около 20 метров.
Оказалось, что наверх подниматься нельзя. Там есть таблички, но маленькие и редко расположены. Так что я не заметил и пришлось полицейскому с ружьем подниматься за мной. А он еще был не в форме и подъем ему тяжело дался

@artyukhin_ivan Sorry, my Russian is very elementary. What were you trying to do, exactly? Climbed the statues and got chased by a guardian?

@ArmchairEgyptologist I did not try to climb the statues. Obviously, it is not allowed. I climbed the hill. There is a very clear path leading up(unfortunately, I did not take pictures), and there is no fence, so I figured it was allowed. Later they showed me the warning signs, but they weren’t there where I started the climb. And the path was for the maintenance staff.
