Honestly? I don't know that Matt has as much fun playing (in this campaign) as he had GMing CR1 through 3.
Whether it's the way Brennan does things, or the tonality of the campaign (both of which seem very different), or just sitting on the other side of the screen for such a long time (way longer than during Aabria GMing) - I dunno.
It's all gut-feeling anyway.
@fedithom where do you read into his behavior, that he is not enjoying things?
He seems thrilled to me, if one looks at him in the cool downs.
And everyone in the fandom could just relax a bit and not overthink everything. Just enjoy the show!
Also: if one can not stop the overthinking: anyone on the cast who seems less chipper than usual compared to the last 10 years? They may just be concerned to live in a full blown fascist autocracy soon 🤷♂️
All very true. And I'd never pretend I'm doing more than blind, gut-based guesswork from several thousand miles away. I sure HOPE he is having a blast.
