@DrALJONES why do you feel attacked & assume i must be criticising you personally, or even the representative in the article?

these posts are read by hundreds or even thousands of ppl. i am replying to anyone reading your posts in general, pointing to the waste of energy & time it is to keep discussing details of a dying system.

there is no changing it, there's no reform that will do anything structural bc the whole system is fundamentally toxic. it's literally build to become fascistic.

@poisonpunk

Re "I am replying to anyone reading your posts in general"

That amounts to treating other posters as vassels, not as persons.

Another reason why people are rendered unconscious when treated that way.

@DrALJONES ok no worries dude, i'll try be more personal in my replies.
but i think you should take into account that i, and many of my siblings, are totally fucked mentally, physically & emotionally by the conditions we have to survive in, and are just fuming with frustration & anger that can't be positively expressed anywhere in a safe way.

@poisonpunk

Yes, of course I understand that. I'm in the same headspace.

It's not easy to remain empathic. But we have no choice.

@DrALJONES it's not a choice to be empathic, not all of us are able to after generations of brainwashing & abuse. but it's definitely the antidote to endemic narcissism, which is a core aspect of this system of death.

@poisonpunk

Yes, the technofeudalists that now run the place have malignant narcissism, aka, narcissistic psychopathy. It's exponentially more dangerous than common-or-garden narcissism.

Once typically marginalised by their communities, these fascistic psychopaths have used the internet - for all its goods - to identify each other & organise to the point of destroying life as we've known it.

Traits 👇

@poisonpunk

PS Typically, the non-psychopathic brain structure retains the capacity for empathy despite abuse - via conscious practice.

@DrALJONES i am halfway through a degree crim/psy plus i have decades lived experience with toxic partners so i know a bit myself.

i don't think it's helpful to criminalise ppl with #clusterB-PDs, i have bpd myself & am constantly criminalised & outcast.

i do think ppl should be held to account for their behaviour at all times tho. just with love & care.

i know, kinda hard when ppl are mass murdering others, but human rights are also applicable to frump & co.

@poisonpunk

I take your point, but wonder about "criminalised", given that the term applies to criminal behaviour, not to diagnoses of disorders.??

From my pov, it's about separating harmful behaviour from the person. Rights apply to the person, not the behaviour

@DrALJONES
ppl like me who never had a chance in hell from the get-go to master the skill of regulating emotions & behaviour bc they've only ever been abused & neglected are being judged at face-value just like everyone else.

that means i get criminalised instantly the second i lose my rag. i am saying that ppl need educating on these behaviours, & importantly, taught to take account for their own behaviour in a conflict situation.
my motto is: change the world, start with your self.

@poisonpunk

Yes, understand. I've been there. I guess you've heard of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). i found it useful.

As you know, the essence of patriarchy is bullying & punishment. It has no other way of treating people, and the most vulnerable suffer the most.

@poisonpunk

Re personality disorders, I guess you know that many are treatable, eg, bpd, but, so far, psychopathy is not.

The psychopathic brain structure is incapable of empathy &, hence, conscience.

@DrALJONES thank you, i'll definitely study that post.

i know off course psychopathy is untreatable. but it should be picked up in early childhood to at least attempt to stop it developing. and ppl like frump still have human rights that should be respected regardless.

him & all the elite should be isolated from society & assessed & treated humanely with care & love. but i am talking 'tough love'. compassion but with very strict boundaries and on our terms, not the perpetrators.

@poisonpunk

"Should": the term has lost all meaning under patriarchy/fascism.

Fallon speaks at length about early childhood experience and psychopathy.

I agree of course that psychopaths that do harm should be isolated and treated humanely.

Re trump et al, they don't think anything is wrong with them. Plus treatment can make them better at psychopatny

@DrALJONES off course they don't think anything is wrong with them, that's one of the main symptoms which makes it impossible for them to recover, including their following on what i call 'the narcissistic roundabout '. a relationship dynamic in narcissistic/psychopathic individuals & their families or followers/cults.

@DrALJONES yes, i am on the endless waitinglist for #DBT.

well, patriarchy, capitalism, fascism & the construct of hierarchy are all coming from narcissistic tendencies in ppl.

i am developing a theory & philosophy about the most balanced way to organise society & ppls individual lives so that humanity as a collective can flourish and grow psychologically, emotionally & physicality to reach its full potential.

Re DBT

If you don't already know of Marsha Linehan (creator of DBT), i suggest:

https://www.linehaninstitute.org/

I used her text myself.

Linehan Institute - Dialectical Behavior Therapy - Dr. Marsha Linehan

We are dedicated to the global dissemination of the life-saving treatment Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan.

Linehan Institute
@DrALJONES off course, i know her work. but again, thank you, i am only a student & only recently seen the light 😆. i take all the learning i can get my hands on.

@poisonpunk

Re "narcissistic tendencies"

Yes, humanity has narcissistic tendencies, but they're treatable (including self-help strategies).

My key point is that psychopathy is different. That is the root of Trump's deliberately malicious material harm: murders, wars, climate denial, criminality, etc, etc, etc.

Suggest check out the Fallon video.

@DrALJONES yes i understand that but i am saying capitalism & the hierarchical systems we live & die in are driving and escalating narcissistic & psychopathic behaviour & have done over generations to the point that now, the elite & followers have developed #clusterB pd's including psychopathy. i don't know the numbers but i bet these conditions are on the rise & particularly prevalent in the billionaire class.

@poisonpunk

The set of billionaires and the set of psychopaths overlap substantially.

1-2% in the general population; much higher, eg, 15% among professions such as law, CEOs, finance, etc.

Pretty high among surgeons...

As to capitalism, aka, late-stage patriarchy, of course.

@DrALJONES @DrALJONES well, that'll back up my ideas then. 😊 thanks for this convo, i'd love to talk more but for now i am going to set my boundary here 😉.
can i read any of your psychology papers anywhere?

@poisonpunk

Thanks, too, I enjoyed it. Will check out your blog.

Re my writing, I can dig out some links if you let me know which topics 👇

It's a mix of scholarly & more accessible articles. My book on psychol of gender (The gender vendors: sex and lies from Abraham to Freud) is on google books:

Articles are mainly on gender, institutional bullying & abuse, education, patriarchy as traumatogenic, forgotten others :-)

The Gender Vendors

Among numerous ancient Western tropes about gender and procreation, “the seed and the soil” is arguably the oldest, most potent, and most invisible in its apparent naturalness. The Gender Vendors denaturalizes this proto-theory of procreation and deconstructs its contemporary legacy. As metaphor for gender and procreation, seed-and-soil constructs the father as the sole generating parent and the mother as nurturing medium, like soil, for the man’s seed-child. In other words, men give life; women merely give birth.The Gender Vendors examines seed-and-soil in the context of the psychology of gender, honor and chastity codes, female genital mutilation, the taboo on male femininity, femiphobia (the fear of being feminine or feminized), sexual violence, institutionalized abuse, the early modern witch hunts, the medicalization and criminalization of gender nonconformity, and campaigns against women’s rights. The examination is structured around particular watersheds in the history of seed-and-soil, for example, Genesis, ancient Greece, early Christianity, the medieval Church, the early modern European witch hunts, and the campaigns of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries against women’s suffrage and education.The neglected story of seed-and-soil matters to everyone who cares about gender equality and why it is taking so long to achieve.

@DrALJONES oh thank you, that's very interesting cause i am trans non-binary & i study crime & psychology!
@DrALJONES @poisonpunk
I am totally ok with surgeons, I don’t want someone who isn’t confident and logical and feels they can be honest. I don’t want a fawning surgeon, I’ll stress tf out.

@EVDHmn

Re "isn’t confident and logical and feels they can be honest"

Hmm. Try "compulsive liars", "callous", "manipulative", etc. for psychopaths - not to be mistaken for cool-headed, logical, honest ppl!

@poisonpunk

@DrALJONES negative behaviour develops through negative (childhood) experiences, & if nobody interferes to stop those experiences happening it will become ingrained in personality.
it's not okay to hold somebody solely to account for their behaviour when nobody stopped it developing in childhood & nobody interfered to help that adult recover & re-condition.

nobody stopped frump or his parents. nobody stopped him as an adult. at least ppl should take accountability for that fact.

@DrALJONES i am not saying frump shouldn't be held to account, of course he should, but everybody following, helping, encouraging, voting, & exploiting him also should be held to account. and so far ppl aren't keen to look in the mirror to see what their contribution is to any conflict situation.
instead it's so much easier to just criminalise frump & co & ppl like myself with #clusterB personality disorders.
unfortunately nothing is black & white, as i have learned the hard way.
