Liquid Glass continues to frustrate with its penchant for wasting space. I'm all for negative space in design, but when it bloats your tools, it might not be a good idea!

Here is the toolbar, customized how I like it, in Pages 14.5 and Pages 15.

What I think I hate most is losing the name inside the title bar. Putting it to the left on the same line as the tools is an infuriating choice. It improves NOTHING.

So what's going on here?

v15:

The tool bar now shares the same space with the document name and the window traffic light. This means there is a LOT less room for EVERYTHING. The document name is truncated now, and you have to mouse over it to see the full name. The Liquid Glass tool bar buttons are much larger, so less of them can fit in the same space.
