At the time of writing, Codeberg Pages has been unavailable for 11+ hours. I've never known that amount of downtime before.

I've just been doing further research into Codeberg Pages, and discovered that it's in 'maintenance mode'.

I have an uptime monitor of my Codeberg Pages sites with Hetrix Tools, and it reported a downtime of 17 hours. At time of writing, the sites are now available.

@fredonline, sad, but Codeberg isn't the only EU alternative, apart Codeberg is selfhostable.

@fredonline there exist statichost.eu which should work fine, never tried it but I am thinking about using it. Also codeberg has git-pages as experimental state to replace the current pages server. But my last state was there exist not really documentation how to use it, but maybe I am blind.

@fredonline We offer Pages via an Integration with statichost.eu, a GDPR compliant static site hoster.

Fully integrated into the UI and including custom domain support.

@fredonline I’ve been looking out for an alternative too after this prolonged outage of Codeberg Pages for my static site deployment. #codeberg #codebergpages
@fredonline And the funny part, the IP for #codeberg pages seems to have been changed as well! That was the reason, that both my static sites were down. Fixed them in the DNS records to get them back up and running. I guess I missed their announcement for the change in IP. #codebergpages
