I picked up Take Me To Your Leader at a used record/CD store in Seattle's U District in 2001 or 02 when I was a freshman in college and even then I was like "I think I'm a little old for this"

@Sadsquatch Yeah, I know what you mean. I have respect for their abilities and careers, but some of the lyrics (especially from that era) definitely have an expiry date…best before you turn 18.

@Sadsquatch Holy shit. When I was writing all that, I wasn’t aware of the “current events” surrounding the Newsboys and spent all of Saturday morning reading about Michael Tait, and now I’m realizing that my comments come off somewhat different…so…yeah.
