Absolutely.
(I could relate, as when our kids were younger we had a wading pool under a shady tree, and many a 30+ afternoon was spent standing in it with a cold cider or beer.)
@imalcolm I'd crack a beer, but I'm concerned we aren't out of the woods yet, even though conditions out here aren't as bad as predicted...
That was a fair call - hell, it's still 40°C here at 6pm.
I'm assuming you're somewhere rural-ish then? I'm in the 'burbs, but have friends and family in various rural and coastal bits of the state on "Watch and act" status all day.
