Greenland is famously distorted, appearing as large as Africa, though Africa is about 14 times bigger. Canada and Russia also look much larger than they really are due to their northern latitudes. Antarctica is stretched the most, appearing enormous compared to its actual 14 million square kilometers. Northern European countries like Iceland, Norway, and Sweden are similarly inflated.
