I'm looking at how best to teach my child about backups on their computer.

Initially I want to teach something simple, an external hard drive, and perhaps a version controlled backup system.

Unfortunately this need to be on Windows, but I'd prefer an open source solution.

I've looked at e.g.
https://www.xda-developers.com/best-open-source-backup-options/
And it seems like Kopia might be a good option.

Any input?

@folfdk Borg backup is quite nifty. And very nerdish. But perhaps someone has made a Windows front end for it?

@svabonius

Thanks.
I looked it up and it seems like there's something, but it needs wsl with Ubuntu, so perhaps not the best option for Windows

@folfdk ah sorry. I wasn't aware (I have only tested it in Linux)
