The taste for "#Hindutva-flavored entertainment" is an effect of the #BJP's and the majoritaian right's success in poisoning the "cultural discourse". I don't know if/how much the regional film industries taking away #Bollywood's marketshare have a similar flavor. It could be that while the highest grossing Bollywood movies are of this flavor, it is also a factor in the net decline in audience. #ARRahman
