Trump is now threatening 100% tariffs on Canada if Canada strikes a trade deal with China.

He is now challenging Canadian independence. Trump wants to control who we trade with, what our tax policy is, and our foreign policy. Basically, veto our future.

So we need to continue diversifying away from the US. And that means, yes, damn that tariff threat. Let’s do that trade deal with China.

taking basis from previous eu debacle. if canada makes a deal with the u.s., what is the point if deal lasts "two weeks".

u.s. has become unreliable and erratic partner. sadly this plays china's advantage. at least, stable trade deals are possible with china.

even i don't totally like china and their motives.

boycott usa and their corporations, especially big tech.
