#NowWatching:

#TheUglyStepsister

I kept seeing this mentioned everywhere, but hadn’t looked into it at all. I watched a trailer earlier and I gotta see this one!

Gonna check out #Bugonia after this and see if it lives up to the hype, as well. The premise seems okay.

@lunchb0x_b haha I loved Bugonia. One of my favorites of last year. Just followed you over on Letterboxd! πŸ”₯

@jake4480

I haven’t watched a trailer for it or anything. Just keep hearing how good it is, so I’m gonna check it out. I’m really enjoying The Ugly Stepsister so far.

@jake4480

So, I wasn’t aware that this was an Ari Aster film. Somehow that knowledge completely alluded me. Had I known that, I probably would’ve been quicker to check this film out.

It’s very strange, but I enjoyed it a lot. My wife says it’s boring, but we differ in tastes occasionally. This one will stick with me.

@lunchb0x_b ha! I didn't either until I saw it. It HAS stuck with me. And my wife VERY MUCH doesn't really do horror. She'll do thrillers or slashers but weirdo stuff like this, nah. hahaha. But yeah, I loved the hell out of it.
@lunchb0x_b The Ugly Stepsister was wild! I enjoyed it immensely. Hope you did too.

@vigour_mortis

Oh, I did! I had no idea what this film was. I’m so glad I watched it. I really enjoyed it!

Bugonia was very good too!

@lunchb0x_b I look forward to Bugonia. I meant to catch in theatre but was too slow. πŸ˜”

@vigour_mortis

I knew nothing about it other than the IMDb blurb! My wife didn’t enjoy it so much, but I really did. She says it’s boring.

@lunchb0x_b I had heard that from others as well. Sounds like one of those movies that puts some off with its style? 🀷

@vigour_mortis

I don’t know. I didn’t even find its style to be that strange. It’s not exactly slow burn, but it’s not packed full of action either. It’s an interesting piece of film. I don’t really know how else to describe it.
