the nazi's started with mass immigrant deportation. Then they ran out of deportation destinations. so the deportation program evolved into work camps. Seeking "efficiency" and lacking an unlimited need for slave labor, the work camps spawned death camps. Over less than a decade.

This kind of progression, uninterrupted, is inevitable under fascism.
