Hey, does anyone out there own a #Nuphy #keyboard? If so, thoughts? I’ve always been a tall profile keycap guy but these slim ones are looking weirdly attractive. Maybe because I’ve been typing on a damn laptop keyboard recently..

@dhry I’ve been looking at their low profile keyboards too. Currently have a low profile Keychron but my error rate is so high.

(I prefer to type by palm-slapping the keys as fast as possible.)

@Tinrocket Ever tried a taller profile keyboard? MT3 profile keys have been a “relatively” recent favorite, but sculpted SP SA was my first love and the classic color ways like SA Carbon, Industrial and (bucket list purchase) Miami are just legendary and will never be surpassed IMO.
@dhry I've been afraid to try full height keys–I don't like to get tired typing; I thought it might be an issue, but now I'm pretty happy with brown switches, so maybe, if I could try-before-I-buy.
@Tinrocket There’s a place here (AZ) called the MK Tech Center. It’s a warehouse and showroom for mechanicalkeyboards.com. You can go in and try dozens of keyboards, all different boutique brands and layouts and switch types, all laid out on many trestle tables. Behind the counter they have switch testers, think a “plank” with like 100 different switches and keys so you can hear and feel them. You can buy lube, caps, boards, aviator cables and just about everything there. A Mecca for keeb nerds.

@dhry I own a nuphy Air60 V2 with their Wisteria switches and I like it. it's very portable (can go in my backpack easily) and I can rest it on top of my laptop's keyboard to directly replace the keyboard (it's a bit of a weird position while doing that but it does work). love using it with my phone too. (just for calibration, my favorite keyswitches are the alps from the Apple Extended Keyboard II and I think the Matias ones are almost but not completely as good)
