@Pollinators I sure wish they were. The only 2025 remnants are garlics in the garage, and spinach and arugula left under row covers over at the crops garden. Last year both wintered over very nicely so I'm hoping for something similar this year. How about you?

@Halcyonline We are in 6b, greater Boston area. I forgot to mention that all this is indoors, under lights, and will be so for quite awhile. I think were at 17 weeks til frost free days.

@gecole I strted onions/leeks/shallots last year from seed, but found I don’t have enough space to hold the plants indoors until it’s time to set them out.
I’m adding a small greenhouse soon to allow more seed starting
