The Dirty Dozen (1967)
A Major in the military, who has difficulty staying within the confines of orders, is tasked with taking military criminals on a top secret mission behind enemy lines during World War II to eliminate German officers.
Much of the movie deals with the training and bonding of the men before they undertake the mission.
Features a great cast.
This was based on a novel of the same name, which was based on real life events.
