This intervention comes just weeks after Verydarkman claims Carter Efe is oppressor in messy breakup saga, highlighting his consistent stance against perceived bullying by public figures.
The pregnancy claim and arrest
The conflict began a few weeks ago when the unnamed lady made a video accusing Prince Okojie of infidelity.
She claimed the politician impregnated another woman who subsequently lost the pregnancy.Reports indicate that the actress and her husband responded by involving the police, leading to the lady’s arrest.
Verydarkman argues that while the claims may be false, the reaction from the couple is excessive and oppressive. He stated that he received numerous pleas regarding the lady’s plight and felt compelled to speak up.
Activist threatens legal action
The social commentator insisted that defamation is a civil offense that should be settled in a court of law, not through police cells. He challenged the couple to release the lady immediately or face a legal battle.
Verydarkman promised to use his own funds to secure a lawyer for the detainee if the Okojies fail to let her go. He emphasized that he does not fear their social status or influence.
Accusations of hypocrisy
The activist also accused Mercy Johnson of double standards regarding online attacks and defamation.He recalled how the actress supported her friend Regina Daniels during a family feud involving Regina’s brother, Samuel.
Verydarkman pointed out that Mercy Johnson urges release of Regina Daniels brother Sammy despite similar tensions, yet she now uses police power against her own critic.
He noted that Regina Daniels’ mother also made damaging comments about Ned Nwoko during that period, yet Mercy Johnson remained supportive.
According to Verydarkman, the actress cannot pick and choose when defamation matters based on who is involved.
