#PalestineAction prisoners have ended their #hungerstrike after 73 days. Following the #UKgov denying a £2 billion contract to the Israeli weapons company Elbit, three activists have ended their hunger strike.

While they are still in dire health conditions, with likely permanent damage, they are being fed.

@thisisdys I am most sorry to disillusion you but the heroic actions of the #HungerStrikers had little effect on the #Elbit contract.

The Times reported that a dossier given to the MoD last year alleged that Elbit Systems had breached business appointment rules in preparing a bid for the £2.6bn contract after a former British military officer, Brigadier Philip Kimber, attended a key meeting with Elbit in the weeks after he left the army. He had advised them how to win the contract.
