In new video, Trump condemns violence without mentioning his second impeachment

The House has voted to impeach Trump on a charge of « inciting violence, » making him the first president in U.S. history to have been impeached twice.

In a video released after the House impeached him, Trump sought to distance himself from the violence of the siege.

“Making America great again has always been about defending the rule of law,” he said, overlooking the fact that he had exhorted supporters at his January 6 rally to march to the Capitol and “fight.”
