🇲🇦 Morocco will return the buses used during #AFCON2025 to the Spanish company Irizar when tournament ends. They were leased specifically for transporting teams and officials.

It's a big deal bcos many previous AFCON hosts bought buses outright and did not keep well post-games.

For example, the buses used for #AFCON2023 in Cameroon were in the news recently as they were "rotting somewhere in Olembe" according to a local station Equinoxe FM.

There had been public speculation regarding whether Moroccan govt or CAF had got the vehicles for permanent use.
