@SunnJax oh man. That happened to me one summer. "Why does the thermostat keep slipping to 87 degrees?"

@SunnJax Yikes. Mine (for infrared wall panels) are all plugins. They can take a battery, but if the power goes out the heat goes with it, so why bother.

I'm guessing they don't have a low battery alert of some kind πŸ₯Ά Note to thermostat designers I guess?

@StaceyCornelius There’s a tiny indicator on the panel, but it’s one of those things I don’t look at regularly.
@SunnJax I have a portable air filtering machine that screams at me when it wants a replacement filter. And I still forget to do it πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
