This is the movie that convinced me that Matthew Broderick can't act. He has a very limited range that managed to be bent as far as it could go to make Ferris Beuller seem like a good movie. Plus it was the 80s and we were dumb and got amused by an emotionless main character abusing his best friend just to get a ride in a cool car.
