After many years of mostly keeping up with the latest tech trends, I’ve decided to step off that path and go back to „ the roots”. This year’s Christmas present is a CD player with Bluetooth, internet, and digital radio. My growing frustration with Alexa not playing the music I want finally tipped the balance. As an avid music listener with a large CD collection, I can now play what I want, when I want—independent of Big Tech. #digitalcaveman

With the new kitchen CD player I am rediscovering my own CD collection. Tonight - Fish and “Vigil in a wilderness of mirrors”. Very good record, the first one after Fish left Marillion. #Music #NoStreaming

Today I’m rediscovering …But Seriously by Phil Collins — one of the very first vinyl records I ever bought as a kid. I still have my original copy, issued in Poland by Polskie Nagrania, and it still plays surprisingly well after all these years. :-)
With small kids around, though, I usually go for the CD version. #NoStreaming #Music
My favorite track is I Wish It Would Rain Down with Eric Clapton. Recorded with real instruments it still sounds good 35 years later.

This is a wonderful record: Joni Mitchell - Hejira. The songs which resulted from a long road trip she made through America. My favorite is Amelia.

Anecdote says that Joni Mitchell drove Mercedes although she had no driving license. #NoStreaming #music
