Happy Kyungsoo's Birthday! I started my day off eating a leftover taco. I know Kyungsoo would approve of the taco choice, but not sure of his stance on leftovers. (It was delicious.)
He and his two friends Lee Kwangsoo and Kim Woo Bin filmed their trip to Mexico last year and Kyungsoo became obsessed with tacos. I can't blame him.

Last January, Kyungsoo released a winter-themed song called "Snowfall at Night" that includes an animated music video.
It is a quiet, gentle song.
Kyungsoo's movie #SecretUntoldMelody was also released to streaming at the beginning of last year. I recommend watching the movie as it is sweet and also supernatural in an unexpected way. Kyungsoo did a lot of promotional events for the movie, as well! (Note the hat covering up his villain hairstyle)
The best part of his "Secret: Untold Melody" promo tour was that his two female costars absolutely loved teasing him constantly on camera. Like siblings, it was fun to watch.

Some point during promotions, they played this game where you try to guess what he's talking about? I think he's talking about sausage and breakfast? Unsure. But the gestures and noises he makes to simulate cooking are solid gold fun times.

Kyungsoo got his very own lightstick! I think it is in the shape of a fishbat maybe? He also sold little charms to go on top of it, including Zzirang-e's blond bangs, as he demonstrates.
Possibly his best cross-market choice last year was singing one of the OSTs from the smash Netflix hit #ResidentPlaybook. It was used in key parts of the drama and just sounded so good. If I weren't a fan of his voice before, this would've sealed the deal.
One of the biggest shockers of last year was when Kyungsoo went BLOND. It was first leaked by a fan who saw him at a restaurant.
Kyungsoo is terrible at keeping secrets anyway, as shown by these messages to fans. π€
Once I got over the shock of seeing BlondSoo, I actually really like the look. Especially grown out a little with dark roots? I totally had a crush on a guy with hair like this when I was in 7th grade. π
One weekend he had a performance both days in Seoul. The Saturday show was blond with dark roots. The Sunday show he dyed it all black again. π
Before he was blond, he was still very colorful in the lead up to his June album BLISS. Mayhaps even sporty? SportySoo?

The single from Kyungsoo's first full-length album (by number of songs, not time) was "SING ALONG!" where he wanted to be as bright and colorful and cheering as possible.
I think it was successful.
I just have to say, I LOVED this entire photoshoot and theme. The blond hair was necessary to make it pop. These bright colors are instantly iconic.
The polar opposite outfit for the SING ALONG music video is this all black outfit. Somebody looks cool AF.

While still blond, and promoting BLISS, Kyungsoo went on KODE where his identity was hidden and he chatted with a fan. She is very much a true Kyungsoo fan as she loves all the dorkiness that is Kyungsoo. This was so fun to watch. Kyungsoo is overly expressive, clueless, and genuine.
He ended up inviting her to his Seoul concert as his guest. She, smart woman, double checked with his manager. And yes, she met up with him at the show!

To promote BLISS, Kyungsoo went on Na PD's radio show. Na PD likes to do "Just Dance" video game battles with his guests. He infamously even won against Kai - EXO's main dancer - earlier last year! But this time, Kyungsoo won against Na PD! So he had to call Kai and gloat about it. π€£π€£π€£
Another BLISS promotional stop for Kyungsoo included the TV show "Chef & My Fridge" where chefs take the contents of two celebrities' fridges to make meals. Bucket list item for foodie Doh Kyungsoo!
