Tailwind CSS has had to layoff 3 out of 4 developers due to impact of AI on their business.

Their business model is to upsell to their paid UI components from their developer docs. But AI usage has caused traffic to their docs to drop -40% and revenue has dropped -80%. Like StackOverflow, another casualty of AI coding tool adoption.

@carnage4life So it seems the better documented the code is, the more likely to work well with LLMs. So all those proprietary dumpster fire toolkits like SAP ABAP are AI resistant, permanently. Guess we're back to the paid certification treadmill
