Spent a little time perusing Reddit and discovered how much the platform hates Caryma Sa'd, but none more than the Canadaland sub.

I haven't logged in in ages, and it just kinda vomited up all kinds of Caryma hate.

It makes me wonder if she's not seen these or if for some reason she saw them and decided to shut her mouth about them so as not to call additional attention.

Which makes today's post really weird.
Or maybe it was just because it's in something called Canada Left.

@Gigi Ah! I know this one. It's right around when I unsubscribed.

So when Jesse Brown did his Zionism episode and got a lot of his followers really upset, he immediately followed that up with a Margaret Atwood being a TERF and not calling her out on it, then the (first) Caryma episode.

Everyone saw that as the final nail in the coffin for Canadaland as the left-er publication.

@Gigi About a month later, I ended up at an event where I happened to have sat next to all of the former Canadaland journalists. Many of them just left. There was much grieving. They had so much hope.

The fact the former(?) listeners stick around that sub and badmouth it is hilarious to me.

Like: I get it, I just hadn't seen it.
I followed a link to the BadHasbara sub after Rachel Gilmore's appearance, which led me to the CL sub thread on the episode, but without logging in, I didn't get the full, hmm, lay of the land?

I am always happy to find little pockets of people who loathe and despise that woman, completely independent of me.

She regularly blames me for other people not liking her, which makes me wonder, aloud and often:

Who did she blame for people hating her for the first 30-whatever years of her life?

She has clearly been friendless (other than relationships of convenience) for her entire life.

I don't have a time machine.
