Rom | Tapas in the sun

I was hoping to take my new 110 year-old #vintagecamera for a test run on the Cabo De Gata coast.

My #zebradryplates arrived, as did four additional film holders. I restored the holders and fitted new light seals. I was worried that the 2mm thick dry plates may not fit, but with a bit of jiggling they went in fine.

Then disaster. The tripod socket does not fit. My 3/8” adapter goes in a few turns, but no more. So the test shoot is on hold until I fathom out what is going on and fix it. Grrr.

@tapasinthesun What did you use to replace the light seals (a few of mine are pretty far gone, but I've got about 6 good ones)

@tmcfarlane I had some self-adhesive felt fabric. Not perfect for the job, but I thought I'd try that until I find something better.

@tapasinthesun I was considering trying some 2mm lightseal foam and cutting an angle on one edge. Some additional felt on that sounds like a good idea though.
